There was a time in the American West when the outfitter was an essential stop for anyone seeking to explore unknown places. They were businesses that provided gear, advice and resources to aid in adventure and exploration. We use the gear we make, and we use that gear to enhance our experience when we explore the wide open spaces of Utah and surrounding states. We chose the name Hell Canyon in homage to a small canyon on the northern edge of Salt Lake City, formerly known as Hell’s Hollow. It is a place we visit to get a break from the hustle and bustle of the city, exercise our dogs and enjoy unobstructed views of the Great Salt Lake and Antelope Island. It is a reminder that we don’t always have to travel great distances to get a taste of the outdoors.
